Over 100 companies from the Trade, Tourism, Retail, Health promotion and NGO sectors took stands at the 3rd Trade and Tourism Show held by Active Retirement Ireland (ARI) on 9th of April 2013 in Wexford. The event was very successful with around 2000 people in attendance. As well as the huge variety of stands, workshops were organised for people to get a flavour of the different activities on offer . The ever popular Supervalu Cookery Demonstration by Kevin Dundon was a treat for attendees. The Ros Tapestry Workshops were booked out as people queued to learn how to embroider. The Raised Garden Workshop was very successful, as was the workshop delivered by Birdwatch Ireland.

A fashion show was held during the Event, organised courtesy of Shaws Department Stores. The clothes were modelled by members of the Active Retirement of Ireland.
