Field of activities:

  • Fostering cross-border cooperation of local authorities, improving life conditions for its inhabitants, promoting bonds and contacts among local communities, providing measures for a more sustainable development in such fields as culture, tourism, environmental protection, entrepreneurship and innovation.

Priorities for international cooperation:

  • The Association has been actively involved in the cooperation within Euroregion Baltic and its partners. It has also cooperated with partners from the Kaliningrad region. Currently, it has been developing closer cooperation activities with the NEEBOR network. 

Participation in international networks:

  • • Member of ERB – Euroregion Baltic;

  • • Cooperation activities with partners from the NEEBOR network.

Ongoing cooperation:

The Association is currently participating in the following international and national project and cooperation initiatives:

• TOURAGE;

• Culart2 – a cultural project within the Lithuania, Poland, Russia ENPI CBC Programme;

• Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme

Senior Tourism in Association of Polish Communes of Euroregio Baltic:

Throughout the years the Association has been actively cooperating with local and foreign partners on many issues related to tourism and its development. The development of  senior tourism among the Association’s member communes will enable and facilitate closer cooperation with various stakeholders actively working with seniors and their communities, mainly local authorities, non-governmental institutions, entrepreneurs and academia.
